Privacy.

LOV. by Jack Lovelle takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to any professional engagement, and is written to comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/LPD) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

Through this website: information you submit via the contact form (name, email, message subject and content). Server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) are kept by our Swiss hosting provider Infomaniak for security and operational purposes.

Through professional engagement: identification documents, financial records, tax-relevant data, and any other information needed to deliver the service you have asked for. The exact scope is set by the engagement letter you receive before work begins.

3. Purpose & legal basis

Contact-form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Professional-engagement data is processed to perform the contract you have entered into, to comply with Swiss tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering legislation, and — where applicable — to assert legitimate professional interests. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Sub-processors & tools

To run the practice, we rely on a small set of trusted providers: Infomaniak (Swiss hosting and email), Formspree or equivalent (contact-form delivery), Cal.com (appointment booking), and case-by-case Bexio, WinBiz, Xero or Swissdec-certified payroll engines for professional work. Where any of these providers process personal data on our behalf, a Data Processing Agreement is in place.

5. International transfers

Your data is primarily stored on Swiss servers. Where a sub-processor (e.g. Cal.com, Formspree) operates from the EU or the US, transfers happen on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses or, for the US, certifications recognised by the Swiss FDPIC.

6. Retention

Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months. Engagement files are kept for the durations required by Swiss tax and commercial law (typically 10 years for accounting records under art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations). Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

Under Swiss FADP and EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and — within legal limits — request the deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, write to jack.lovelle@fiduciaire-lov.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with your local EU data-protection authority.

8. Cookies

This website uses a single technical cookie to remember your language preference (EN/FR) via localStorage. No third-party tracking, no advertising cookies, no behavioural profiling. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated and a clear consent banner will be presented.

9. Updates

This policy may evolve with our practice and the legal landscape. The current version was last updated on 8 May 2026.
