Hi, I'm Jack. I'm a Swiss accountant and tax advisor based in Verbier, working primarily with English-speaking expats and international families across the Alps.
After working inside traditional Swiss practices, I started LOV. on a simple idea: Swiss compliance shouldn't feel like a punishment for being foreign. I work bilingually, communicate in plain English (or French, if you prefer), and I'm fluent in the modern tools my clients actually use — from Bexio and WinBiz to Xero, crypto wallets, and AI-assisted bookkeeping.
Outside the spreadsheets, I'm an active member of the Crypto Valley Association and the AI for Finance Club — and probably snowboarding somewhere when I should be replying to your email.

It depends on your permit, your canton and your income level. If you're on a B permit and below the source-tax cap (typically CHF 120,000 in most cantons), you may not need to file at all in year one — though you can request a recalculation if it benefits you. Above that, or with foreign assets, foreign income, real estate or self-employment, an ordinary return is required. We'll figure out which bucket you're in on a 30-minute call.
Yes — for the Swiss side. I prepare your Swiss return, coordinate around double-tax treaties (UK, EU, US, Australia, etc.), and apply foreign credits where they qualify. For the foreign-side filings (US 1040, UK self-assessment, etc.), I work alongside trusted partners in those jurisdictions and join calls with them when it helps.
Fixed fees wherever possible — you should know the price before we start. Personal tax returns, permit applications, and one-off projects are flat-rate. Ongoing accounting is monthly retainer based on volume and tools. Hourly billing only for advisory work where scope is genuinely open. You'll get a proposal in writing within 48 hours of our call.
Yes. Documents flow through a secure Swiss-hosted client portal, signatures are electronic, calls happen on Google Meet or Zoom. I'm based in Verbier — which means I can also meet in person if you're in the Valais or Vaud Alps. But there's no need.
Yes — Sàrl, SA and sole proprietorships. From canton choice and entity selection through capital deposit, registration with the Commercial Register, VAT enrolment and the first set of accounts. I work with a local notary network for the public-deed steps.
Yes. I'm an active member of the Crypto Valley Association, I track AFC and cantonal guidance closely, and I work day-to-day with on-chain wallets, staking income, NFTs, DeFi positions and CEX exports. Switzerland's crypto framework is favourable but specific — the difference between getting it right and improvising shows up directly in your wealth tax.
